Ulrike Froehlich
Ulrike Froehlich started Understanding Japan - Froehlich Management Consulting to help show ways to improve European-
Japanese economic and business interactions.
She has been a consultant/trainer since 2006 and has been involved professionally with Japan for over 20 years.
A solid academic background (MA in Japanese Studies, Economics and Sociology) complements her first-hand experience gained
working for governmental bodies and industry in Japan and Germany. This includes working for the Nagano Prefectural
Government, the Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Toshiba TEC.
Additionally, she is trained to audit and advise companies on the EFQM Excellence Model (European Quality Management), and
is currently a lecturer at the Baden-Wuertemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach in the subject ‘International Business’.
As a fully qualified coach and trainer (BWA, St. Gallen), Ulrike can provide your company with the advice and training it needs to
be successful in the Japanese market.
